This is a sample of what our guarantee covers, the actual contract will be e-mailed to you when a deposit has been made on a puppy.
Cobb Creek Kennel guarantees that our puppy is in good health at the time of transfer and is guaranteed from communicable disease for 72 hours from the date of sale. You are responsible for having the puppy checked by your vet within that time period. We will not be responsible for parvo, distemper or kennel cough contracted after the puppy leaves us. We also guarantee our puppy to be free of genetic defects that would be life threatening or not medically manageable until the puppy reaches one (1) year of age. If such circumstances occur, we must be notified immediately and have proof of defect or disease in writing from a veterinary stating that the problem is genetic with no possibility of any other cause such as accidents, insect borne diseases, parasites, viruses, ect. Our vet will then examine the documents and the puppy and the registration papers would need to be returned to us at buyer’s expense in order to receive a replacement puppy. No cash refund will be made, replacement puppy of equal value will be offered when one is available. We are not responsible for any vet bills that incur. We cannot be responsible for how much your vet charges you or the knowledge of your vet. You need to consider these things before purchasing a puppy.
We cannot guarantee against hypoglycemia but we will give you information on prevention and treatment. We do not let a puppy leave us until we feel like it is ready for the transition and eating well. The puppy will be checked by our vet before leaving us and we will include a list of all vaccinations, wormings and anything that has been done to the puppy. Please contact your vet as to what vaccination schedule he/she wants the puppy on. It is your responsibility to continue the puppy’s vaccinations. The puppy needs to be vaccinated every 2-3 weeks until 16 weeks of age. It is your responsibility to protect the puppy from exposure to disease until he is fully vaccinated and immune.
We cannot guarantee against incompatibility, that your puppy will be the perfect show dog, the perfect breeder, the exact weight or color you want him to be, housebroke in a day, or that he won’t ever chew up your favorite shoe but we can guarantee that if you love and care for him properly, you will have a wonderful friend!!
Buyer understands that the deposit is non-refundable unless due to the health of the puppy and shipping is at his/her expense .
This guarantee applies to the original puppy only and is nontransferable to a second party. Buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully and that this contract is under the jurisdiction of the state of Missouri, in the county of Laclede. It is agreed that the place on venue shall be in Laclede County Missouri. This contract must be signed and returned to Cobb Creek Kennel before the puppy can leave us.
